Shingles

£190 per dose (2 doses required)

Further Information

Side effects: Temporary side effects may include soreness, redness, or swelling at the injection site, fatigue, headache, or mild fever.

Additional precautions: Even if you’ve had shingles before, vaccination can help prevent future episodes and reduce the risk of long-term nerve pain (postherpetic neuralgia).

Before your appointment: Inform your healthcare professional if you have a weakened immune system, are unwell, or have recently received another live vaccine.

Risks caused by shingles: Shingles causes a painful, blistering rash, often on one side of the body, and may lead to burning or tingling sensations. In some cases, nerve pain can persist for months or even years after the rash heals.
